As pet owners, we understand what it is like to lose a pet. Our pets are members of our family and deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. Here at the Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home, we treat your pet like a member of our family.

There is a special bond that forms between a pet and its owner, one of unconditional love and friendship. A pet is often more than a companion; it is thought of as part of the family. When that pet dies, it can be like losing a member of the family.

It's important to remember that it's okay to feel sad, to grieve for your pet because for many people, the death of a pet is a profound loss. These powerful and complex emotions are part of the grieving process, something that we all do in our own individual way.

Don't ever feel that your loss is diminished because it was an animal. Your pet has been with you through good times and bad, a central point to many memories, and your loss is significant. You are justified in your feelings and should never feel as if your grief should be less than it is.

There are many options available when you are dealing with the death of a pet. Many owners choose cremation. There are even cemeteries specifically for pets.  Our services include pet caskets, pet urns, and individual pet cremations all at a reasonable cost. Contact us for any questions you may have including fees and arrangements.
