Handy's winter home in Fort Myers, Florida was across the street from my grandparents' house.  He and his wife were like an extra set of grandparents to me.  I used to look forward to their arrival in Fort Myers.  I would often go over to talk and play cards with them.  Handy was a great guy and will truly be missed.

Mr. Wolf was a great Principal, from my Oakwood years.
I am glad he lived a long life.  He always greeted me
by name and had a good word.

Thankfully I was never recipient on the enforcement side
of his job.  He always seemed kind and soft spoken.

RIP Mr. Wolf, we were fortunate to have you.

My memories are of the first day we met.  He introduced himself and I said, "Nice to meet you Andy".  He said my name is Handy.  I said, Yes Andy, I got it.  He then spelled his name for me and we both had a good laugh.  He was a true educator and funny man.  I am sorry for your loss.

The times I've spent with Handy Wolf were always fun and filled with laughter.  I will always cherish the fond memories I have of accompanying the Tim Wolf family on a cruise with Handy and Marilyn.  The one thing I will always remember about Handy is if he ever wore a hat he became "Handy-capped"!  My condolences to the whole family as you go through this time of grieving.

Marillyn, Tim, Laura, Drew, and Trent,

There is nothing one can say now that will take away the heartache, but hopefully beautiful memories of the good times with Handy will soon replace your grief.  He was certainly one of a  kind with an unmatched memory.   His regression into illness brought about something wonderful, though; you are back in our lives - a silver lining!  May you find peace in knowing he is out of his pain and now is with God.  We are here for you if you need us.   Anytime!!! XO

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Wolf.  My grandmother Elma Ecrement was his secretary for many years at Glenwood and I remember fondly the summers when I would go in to help out in the office.  Mr. Wolf would often bring me a treat.  He was a wonderful man!

So sorry to hear of the passing of my warrior friend.  He was so proud to have heroically served his country well in WWII.  Had the pleasure of meeting him at Oakwood and we both noted that the other was wearing the "Blue Badge" on our coat lapel.  He laughed when I told him that I would tell people that our Combat Infantryman Badge (CIB) meant that we had "been personally shot at by an enemy of the United States".  I also will remember former students  respectfully approaching this kind and gentle man who had obviously made a difference in their lives.  May he rest in peace.

Dearest Marilyn and Family, Oh how I loved our "Handy".  I was so happy when he called me here at the Regency awhile back.  He was always so greatful about everything.  I pray you are doing well - I know this is very hard - you are so beautiful and to think you were high school sweethearts WOW!  what a witness you are - your dedication to each other.  Just know how happy Handy is in his heavenly home with Jesus!  We will see him someday.  I love you.
Sincerely, Wanda
