Robert L. Jensen

Robert L. Jensen, 80, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, March 14th, at Aultman Compassionate Care Center. Born in Canton on November 13, 1942, a son of the late Henry and Mae (Shenkle) Jensen, also preceded in death by beloved 1st wife Bonnie (Stouffer) Jensen; grandson Joshua Tausch; grandfather, with whom he was very close, Theodore Jensen, of Denmark and beloved pet Precious. A member of the Grace Fellowship Church and Local Union 6 Bricklayers and Allied Craftsman of Canton, Robert was employed at Stark Ceramics for 42 years. He attended East Canton schools and in his younger years had a passion for dancing. He was a lifelong outdoors man, enjoying hunting, fishing and spending time near the lake. Robert was also an antique treasure hunter and loved being with his family, especially his many grandchildren. Survived by wife Sandra J. (Lipford) Jensen; daughter Tracy Tausch-Jensen, of Massillon; son Brian (Tricia) Jensen, of East Canton; step daughter Crystal Burgess; 3 sisters Patty Passwaters, Donna (Howard) Boyd, Linda (Loren) Cochran; brother in law Jamie (Chris) Stouffer; 6 grandchildren Cindy Tausch, Kimberly (Dave Nay) Tausch, Brittaney (Matt) Allen, Kyle (Leeann) Jensen, Jacob (Brianna) Jensen, Rushon Patterson II; 5 great-grandchildren Riley, Lilly, Javon (Kayla), Dominic (BeBin), Brianna; 2 great-great-granddaughters Kyndall and Muna; friends Larry Shepard, Mark Davis and canine companion Tinkerbell as well as the Lipford family by whom he was dearly loved and many other extended family members and cherished friends. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, March 20th, in the Grace Fellowship Church with Reverend Keith Stephens officiating. Friends and family may call 1 hour prior, also in the church. Burial in Forest Hill Cemetery to follow services.
