Lynn M. Gutridge

Lynn Marie Gutridge 61, of Hopewell, Ohio passed away after a lengthy illness on Wednesday July 21, 2021 in Canton, Ohio. Lynn was born on August 23, 1959 in Billings, Montana. She was the daughter of the late Elmer R Bedor and Almira (Copping) Bedor.
Lynn leaves behind to cherish her memory two sons, Derrick Norris of East Canton, Ohio (and a “special daughter” Cassandra Norris) and Jacob Caplinger of Zanesville, Ohio. Three grandchildren, Jaden Ann Gallion and Cordell Cameron Gallion of Wyoming and a new granddaughter she never had the pleasure to meet, Karma Jean Caplinger of Zanesville, Ohio.
  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Bedor. Lynn also has two sisters Judy Pierce of Spokane, Washington, and Ladonna (Tim) Carpenter of Billings, Montana, and two brothers Donald Bedor of Missoula, Montana and George Bedor of Lolo, Montana as well as a host of nieces and nephews and family and friends.
  Lynn was a loving daughter, sister and mother. She migrated to Ohio in 1983 from Wolf Point, Montana with a vision to help others. She dedicated her entire life to the wellbeing of humanity by nursing the sick back to health. She was a 1994 graduate of Ohio University and a Registered Nurse who cared for many patients throughout her lifetime. Lynn is to be remembered as a kind, compassionate country girl with grit. She was a vital asset to her community and a loving mother with a green thumb.  Like a star in the night sky, you were and will always be there watching over us, shining brightly, just a heartbeat away. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. See you soon in Heaven, Momma.
