Obituary
Kurt Matthew Rothermel, 61, of North Canton, passed away Tuesday, at his home surrounded by loved ones. Born in Canton on March 27, 1962, a son of the late Donald and Shirley (Stevenson) Rothermel, also preceded in death by infant brother Guy Brian Rothermel, aunts and uncles Alice (Paul), and Dee (Jim). A class of 1981 Glenoak High School graduate, Kurt was an avid woodworker and carpenter. With the ability to make his own instruments, he was also an accomplished musician. Among his many talents, he was also well known for his abilities as an amateur chef. Survived by sister Stacie (Marjorie Stocker) Rothermel; brother Kent (Linda) Rothermel, all of Canton; 3 nephews Kryton, Kaylor, and Kytt; close family members Paula (Shelly), Dan, and Amber; as well as many other family members; and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Traditions Hospice and its "A-Team + Kathi and Joey" for all of the comfort and compassion received throughout this difficult time.
