Joseph Anthony Streamo, 83, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, April 20th, at Astoria Skilled Nursing Facility. Born in Canton on January 7, 1939, a son of the late Nicholas and Isabelle (Bernabie) Streamo, besides his parents he is also preceded in death by wife Marge Streamo; 2 sisters Annabelle Turner, Rose Meola; 3 brothers John, Nickolas and Donald Streamo. A member of St. Anthony All Saints Parish of Canton, he served in the U.S. Army and ran Dumont Lawn and Garden with his brother for 40 years before retiring at age 70. Survived by partner of 19 years Karen Fisher; daughter Valerie Streamo; sister Mary (Mike) Bagnoli and grandson Anthony Streamo as well as several nieces and nephews. There are no services currently scheduled.
