Donna "Tubby" Houck

Donna “Tubby” Houck, 72, passed away suddenly Monday, October 23, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Canton, on January 5, 1951 to the late Kenneth and Margaret “Midge” Houck, also preceded in death by son Keith Kaminski and brother Kenneth Houck. 
The feisty great-grandmother, she loved playing cards, gambling, watching game shows, and cooking for her family. Tubby had a big heart, always offering to help others. She was also a hard worker, always putting others before herself, she was often working multiple jobs. The world will be a quieter place without her loud snoring to fill it. She will be greatly missed. Although she left this world too soon, she will forever stay in our hearts.
She leaves behind her partner of 32 years William “Bud” Collins; children Samantha (Jerold Ross) Boggs, Kenneth (Samantha) Boggs, Wendy Boggs, and Joey (Melissa) Boggs; grandchildren Keith (Katie) Hand, Kyle Hand, Kaden Boggs, Kayce Boggs, Samara Pair, Austin Boggs, Dylan (Payton) Boggs, Zoey Boggs, Austin (Jacki) Ross, and Kathy Richmond; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings Peggy (Bob) Hochstetler, Sandy (Jerry) Hunter, Nancy (John) Daverio, Diana (Tim) Shirey, Clint (Holly) Houck, Kelly Houck; as well as  numerous nieces; nephews; cousins; family members; and friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11AM until 1PM on Thursday, November 2nd in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home. An opportunity to share memories will be held at 1PM, also in the funeral home. Family is to host a gathering following the service at the Canton South Social Hall, 4845 Wiseland Ave SE, Canton, OH 44707.
