"There are special people in our lives that never leave us, even after they are gone." Delphia Lorrene Jenkins, 87, of Louisville, passed away Friday, April 1st, at Aultman Compassionate Care Center. Born in Grafton, West Virginia on February 3, 1935, a daughter of the late Charles and Lydia Mayle. Also preceded in death her loving husband, Lee Jenkins who passed away in 2001; sisters Geraldine DeCost, Doris Mayle, and brothers Lawrence Mayle and Boyd Mayle. She is survived by 2 daughters Thea (Richard) Foltz, of Louisville, Gwen Shirley, of Tipton, IN; 2 sons Terry (Lesa) Jenkins, of Put In Bay, and Phillip (Chanie) Jenkins, of Columbus; 9 grandchildren Rachelle (Mike), Peter (Whitney), Jacob (Liz), Jordan (Olivia), Taryn (Tyler), Candace (Laci), Madison (Shane), Hannah (Martin), and Jaxson; as well as 7 great-grandchildren Audrey, Aislyn, Caden, Colton, Aurora, Theo, and Gabriel. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 9th in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Hunt officiating. Friends and family may call two hours prior to services also in the funeral home. Burial will take place in Evergreen Memorial Gardens following services.
