Peter Miner, 59, of Louisville, passed away Monday, May 7th, at Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Canton, on April 7, 1959, a son of the late Hoyt and Levonia (Croston) Miner, in addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 3 brothers Troy, Edward, and Larry Miner. Peter owned and operated his own towing company, Ford Street Auto, retiring in 2013. Besides his wife, Helen Miner, he is survived by 2 daughters Alesha (Steve) Bryant, of Louisville; Mary Miner, of Canton; 1 son Peter "PJ" (Alicia) Miner Jr., of East Canton; 3 sisters Ruthann Jackson, of East Canton; Laura Miner and Paulette Taylor; 2 brothers Michael and Marion Miner, all of Canton; as well as 3 grandchildren: Jacob, Isaiah, and Olivia Miner. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, May 10th in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Mayle officiating, friends may call also on Thursday from 11 AM until time of services. There will be a luncheon following the service at Labors Local Union Hall 1015.1121 W. Tuscarawas St. in Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
