Delores Gray, 86, of Dennison, passed away peacefully at Community Hospice Truman House on Sunday, November 18th, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 5, 1931 to the late Charles and Lottie Eckhardt. Also preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph Washington Gray whom she married on December 23, 1957; 3 sisters Julia Reichman, Betty Nicholson, and Beatrice Davie; and a special granddaughter Tiffany Dawn. Dee enjoyed her job as a nurse aid for many years and found that taking care of others in need was her passion but her family was more important than the air she breathed. When she wasn't taking care of her patients, she could be found getting everyone together to spending time with the family. Dee, also loved to be relaxing outside, soaking up some sunshine. Survived by a daughter Dawna (Denver) Monte; 2 sons Robert (Nancy) Tharp and Randy (Theresa) Gray; grandchildren Heather (Mike) Enos, Chasity (Jamie) Warner, Jodee (Rich) Dunlap, Maranda (Tory) Gibbs, Deanna (Don) Shock, Robby (Chris) Haney, and Angel Burdette; great-grandchildren Chelcie (Josh) Kyle (Jenna), Darron (Sydney), Brooke (Justin), Kierstin (Tyler), Dustin, Tyler (Gionna), Taylor, Whitley (Chris), Kashton, Kris, Tyler, Ray, Lexi; great-great-grandchildren Madison, Makenzie, Braxtyn, Oaklyn, Cooper, Haley, AvaMarie, Delaney, Bristol, soon-to-be William, Kylynn, Sawyer, and Jameson; many nieces and nephews; special aides Heidi and Kelly; and a special nurse Kim. Thanks to Ember Home Health Care and Community Hospice Truman House for their endless care and comfort when it was needed most. A burial will be held at a later date.
