Carol S. Andring

Carol Sue (Hershell) Andring, daughter of Jack and Fern Hershell, passed away Thursday, August 16th after an extended illness. Born on September 3, 1934 in Canton; attended Gibbs Grade School and was a 1952 graduate of McKinley High School and was later instrumental in organizing the McKinley Alumni Band. She loved her work with the Red Cross and later at the Knot Nook and All That Jazz with her sister Sally. Carol was also a big fan of the Cavs and the Canton Charge. Preceded in death by her parents and her husband Russ Andring, she is survived by her sisters Sally (Peter) Ranalli and Linda (Milan) Zimer; 3 step-children Tim, Mike, and Colleen Andring; step niece Robin Miller; along with many other loving family and friends. A private graveside tribute will be held at Sunset Hills. The family requests donations to be made to the Stark County American Red Cross in her memory.
