Allen L Stoneman

Allen L Stoneman, 61 of Canton, passed away September 8th, 2017 in Aultman Compassionate Care Center following a lengthy illness. Born in Canton on September 17, 1955, a son of the late Donna (Duplain) Stoneman, also preceded in death by grandparents who raised him, Bernard and Margaret Duplain. Employed as an auto mechanic at K-Mart of Canton. Allen was an avid bowler, loved fishing, bingo and working on cars. Leaving to cherish his memory his soulmate of 41 years Penny Ann Stoneman, of Canton; daughter Patricia Gouge, of the home; son Samuel (Deana) Gouge, of Canton; sister Gloria Lewis, of Canton, 4 grandchildren Joshua Edwards, Tiffany Edwards, Cory Edwards, Anthony Schmidt; 2 great-granddaughters Layla Kirk, EllieKay Edwards; many nieces and nephews, including special nieces Christina Boley, Brittany (William) Bohland, Stacy (Greg) Arnold; special cousin, Rhonda Palumbo. A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday September 12th from 6-8pm in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Wednesday September 13th at the 38th Street Church of Christ, 3904 38th St NW, Canton, OH 44718 with Rev. Lance Lindenberger officiating.
