Gary D. Newman

Gary D. Newman, age 63, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 30, 2017. Born in Canton on July 9 1954. He was preceeded in death by his mother Lucy P Newman and his father Joe Newman. Survived by his two sisters Tona Newman and Gwendlin Kay Johnson; aunt Mannibel Mayle; 3 nieces Angela (Travis) Fankhauser, Lisa (Michael) Cummings, Brandy(Clint)McCoy; nephew Anthony (Tony) Johnson; along with several great nieces and nephews and cousins. Gary was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. He retired from Labors Local 1015 after 30 years. Enjoyed trips to the beach and spending time with his family. A member of the New Covenant Church of Canton. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 6th in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Mayle officiating.
